Career Development Institute, Inc. believes in encouraging and supporting students to attain their professional goals in nursing by identifying their potential and building on their success. This mission is accomplished by: - Promoting quality of care for residents in the acute care facility, long-term care facility, and for clients in the home care setting. - Ensuring that each student recognizes the importance of his or her contribution to the quality of life for residents in the acute care facility, long-term care facility, and for clients in the home care setting. - Promoting entry-level skills for employment as a nurse assistant and/or home health aide or restorative nurse aide and to extend the role as a paraprofessional. - Providing a career ladder to become a licensed vocational nurse and to provide entry level skills for employment as a professional. - Promoting the idea of higher learning and striving to a high level of nursing by becoming a registered nurse and encouraging the attainment of an Associate or Bachelor's degree and the opportunities associated with a higher level of education. The institution continuously offers programs that fit the needs of our students, by offering flexible program schedules that allows them to both meet their educational goals and advance their careers. This continuous flexibility is crucial in meeting the needs of the working community that it serves. Continual program reviews assure that the institution continues to meet the needs of its students.
