About This Area of Study

Many people have heard of STEM, but if you haven’t, it’s no big deal. It stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It’s a broad term for some exciting areas of study that can help prepare you for occupations in the information technology and computer operations fields.

What You Can Expect to Do

Expect to see and understand a lot of numbers, equations, programming languages, theorems and theories. Not everything can be seen with the naked eye, and some of it is too big to comprehend with a mathematical equation, but all of it is STEM (yes, even predicting the weather).
