GI Bill Benefits

Managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the GI Bill helps you pay for college (undergraduate and graduate school), and certain training programs — covering tuition, housing and book expenses. Those eligible for these benefits include veterans, qualified survivors or dependents, and those who have served active duty for at least 90 days after September 10, 2001.

Yellow Ribbon Program

A program designed to help students avoid paying out-of-pocket for tuition and fees that exceed the amounts covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Participating schools voluntarily agree to waive a portion of their charges, which the Veterans Affairs (VA) matches.

Military Scholarships

Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is a training and development program sponsored by the Army, Navy (Marine Corps through the Navy) and Air Force (Space Force through Air Force) that offers scholarships to cover tuition and fees. It also provides stipends to students who commit to serving in a specific Service branch after graduation.

Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)

One of the most comprehensive scholarships available in the health care field, HPSP offers full financial support for students who commit to serve in the military for a set period of time after graduation. The HPSP offers two-, three- and four-year military scholarships that can help cover civilian medical school tuition, pay for fees and provide a monthly living stipend.
