The mission of the Florida College of Integrative Medicine is to provide comprehensive graduate education in complementary, integrative, traditional, and conventional medical sciences that emphasizes careful diagnosis, effective treatment, disease prevention and health maintenance in a patient friendly, cost-effective delivery environment. In addition to the natural and traditional sciences, education programs include intensive study of the biomedical sciences so practitioners can appropriately support and integrate within the conventional healthcare system.

- A program that prepares individuals for the independent professional practice of acupuncture, a Chinese system of health care and healing based on the use of pulse diagnosis, acupuncture point selection, and needle insertion, as well as herbs and other Asian treatment modalities.
