Our mission is to provide excellent educational opportunities, resources, and clinical experiences to meet the requirements of all students pursuing a career and certification in cardiovascular ultrasound diagnostics. CVIU sets high academic standards for its students and insures students have a thorough understanding of the ultrasound principles, technology, and competency skills needed to confidently pursue a career in cardiovascular ultrasound. The didactic components are integrated with the practical application of ultrasound sonography through scanning labs and on-site application of the knowledge and competencies learned in the classroom. Any student completing any CVIU program will possess complete confidence in pursuing a career in ultrasound sonography.
